2. Where and how do I start?

Managed Forex Accounts are fully segregated accounts individually owned by each Investor at a brokerage firm and managed by our Portfolio Manager on client’s behalf. How it works, is the investor opens a trading account at one of our designated brokerage firm. The investor then funds their account. No one can access the funds in this account apart from the investor who retains full access and control over the account at all times. Forex Managed Account is then added to an IBR-Global Markets Ltd Master Account that allows the Investor to have their funds traded professionally by IBR-Global Markets Ltd Portfolio Manager. As a part of this arrangement an authorization document is signed called a Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA). This document is an agreement between the Asset Management Holdings and the Investor which enables the IBR-Global Markets Ltd Portfolio Manager to trade an Investor’s account on their behalf. Clients retain full control over their accounts at all times and IBR-Global Markets Ltd Portfolio Managers are granted “trade only” access to the accounts. The PAMM (Percent Allocation Management Module) distributes gains, losses and fees on an equal percentage basis. In this way all accounts regardless of size obtain the same percentage returns. The LAMM (Lot Allocation Management Module) allows the trader to allocate different trade lots to each investor’s account. This grants the trader the flexibility to use different leverages for different types of investors. The MAM (Multi-Account Manager) is a combination of the features found in a PAMM and LAMM, and offers more flexibility to the trader managing investor accounts.  This is all handled by the trader and the brokerage, making it seamless for investors to participate. Investors have read only access to their managed account at all times, either through an online report viewer or directly through the trading platform. They can view their account, including balance, profit and closed trades; however they will not be able to place their own trades on the account, unless they revoke their LPOA, which as stated, is the document that enables the trader the ability to trade on their behalf.  This structure offers clients full control, access, flexibility and true transparency.

Trading Systems: In partnership with reputable brokers Asset Management Holdings is able to offer our clients the tightest Interbank Spreads and trading conditions within our Trading Systems environment. Spreads should always be considered in conjunction with depth-of-book. In Forex Market, the larger the ticket size, the wider the spread are. Depth of Market is a measure of a volume available for transaction purposes for a particular instrument at a certain point in time and Asset Management Holdings Systems have been built with those parameters in mind as well stability, state of the art computing power and redundant backup capability. Asset Management Holdings servers are located in very close proximity to the Financial Exchange Network in New York and London where optical fibre connects directly from Bank Servers to the Master Servers. This enables lower latency trading and ensures optimal fills executed by our Trading Systems with slippage minimization for our clients. Direct connections via Optical Fibre, rather than a conventional internet connection, enable order transmission at increased speeds, resulting in lower levels of latency on the network.

11. High Water Mark

Our managed funds program offers High Water Mark protections for the investor. This is the status quo within the industry now and assures investors that profit sharing will be calculated based on a fair valuation of returns earned. Meaning that for example, if the Asset Management Holdings Funds Manager gains 10% in one month then we get to keep 20% of those profits and the investor keep the other 80%.The profit sharing ratio depends on the mandated designated on the LPOA.

HIGH WATER MARK EXAMPLE: Client deposits initial funds that become the first High Water Mark (HWM). In this example a client deposits $100k. After the first month Portfolio Manager gains a 10% profit which brings a client account up to a gross value of $110k. This $110k which becomes a new balance minus the last High Water Mark ($100k) equals to $10k of the profits. In this example the Performance Fee is 20% which equals to 2k. This is a Performance Fee payable to the IBR-Global Markets Ltd.’s Portfolio Manager. A client retains $8k of the profits. His/her account balance after paying Performance Fee is now $108k, which is set as the new High Water Mark on the following month. Let’s assume that next month that investment’s value falls to $100k.  Our Fund Manager produces 20% returns the following month and that investment is now worth 120K. An investor would only have to pay performance fees on that gain between the $110k and $120k, not the full 20% gain $20k for that period.

12. Where are my billing transactions?

You can view detailed summary of your account billing transactions when you login your details with your broker on the broker’s website.

13. Performance Fees

Clients are charged a fair fee for the performance, which means fee of any new profits made, based on a High Watermark. It means that incentive fees are paid only on NET new rises in asset value. If a temporary decline occurs, it must be recouped before new incentive fees are paid. This ensures that Portfolio Managers receive a performance fee only when the account value exceeds its previous high. Portfolio Managers fees are being paid as a fraction of the spread which is part of the agreement with the broker. There are no any other extra fees for the Application, Withdrawal etc. For performance fee structure on investments, see our investment fee structure table on our website.
